We were at the Brass lantern for a 2-night birthday weekend for my husband. They were very accommodating to our little dog (bed, feeding bowls). The location was perfection. Off a main downtown street but extremely quiet. The room was a good size and clean. The bed and linens were wonderfully comfortable; the shower nice and hot. Wish we were there in the summer to take advantage of their lovely patio. The continental breakfasts were great and ample. Sharon was very professional and kind. Fortunately she was available to get us in our room after dining out one night as we locked ourselves out. Highly recommend the Brass Lantern especially if you have a dog. Thank you so much!

Just came back from a two night stay at the Brass Lantern Inn on Nantucket. The Brass Lantern is a beautiful, quaint hotel in a wonderful location in town! My room was perfect, comfortable bed and pillows. The room and inn is very clean and well kept. Sharon and the staff were amazing. I booked the hotel the day before I arrived and Sharon was in contact with me very soon after making the reservations. Check in was very easy. Breakfast was included and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Brass Lantern Inn. Sharon and the staff really do a wonderful job taking care of their guests.

We've stayed at the Brass Lantern many times over the years and will keep coming back. Sharon and the staff are all very nice and welcoming, the inn is very well maintained and immaculate and it's in a great location. While being very close to town and the ferry, it's on a side street, which is very quiet. The breakfast is excellent and trays are made up for those staying in a room, with the option to eat at one of the tables in the dining room or dine in your room. We often stay in Jonquil, on the second floor of the garden wing ... the bed was very comfortable and the shower a good size but there are many good room options. We've been coming to the island yearly for decades and have sampled various inns over the years but this is our favorite. Several inns have been taken over by a bigger companies now and the result isn't necessarily good.

I just got home from my first ever trip to Nantucket. I took my dog & the Brass Lantern was beyond dog friendly. The breakfast was great. It seemed like every time I came out of my room there was another delicious aroma of something baking. Hot tea, coffee & hot chocolate were always available. I can’t wait to go back.

Just returned from a girls trip and loved everything about Brass Lantern! Rooms, quaintness, breakfast was amazing and the warm baked cookies in the evening were so good! Ann Marie was very helpful and kind. Loved talking with her and she went out of her way to help with anything we needed. One of our days was a down pour of rain all day she gladly dried our jeans in the dryer that had got soak and wet. Location is awesome. This place is a gem in Nantucket! Can’t wait to bring my husband back for a trip!

We were in Nantucket for a long weekend celebration. My husband and I have been coming to Nantucket for many decades but this was the first time staying at this Inn. It was lovely! Excellent location, very close to downtown but just off the main road so that it is quiet at night. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room immaculate, the breakfast was great. There was always coffee or tea available and in the afternoon fresh baked cookies. I would stay here again!

I’ve stayed with the Brass Lantern twice and hope to be back many more times. The in-town location is superb, we walked everywhere! Rooms are spacious and immaculate and breakfasts are wonderful and delicious. The staff is so welcoming, friendly and willing to help with anything you might need. Can’t wait to be back!

The Brass Lantern Inn is a hidden gem on the island. It is quaint, cute, historic; and is located right downtown close to the ferry. Sharon and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The breakfast and the afternoon cookies were an added bonus. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to any island visitor.

Loved our stay at the Brass Lantern Inn! We stayed in a dog friendly room, which included a food/water bowl and dog bed if you need it and was very spacious and quaint! The homemade breakfast in the morning, staff and location was perfect and we would highly recommend! Definitely would love to go back next time we visit Nantucket!

Adorable B&B with such a wonderful host, Sharon! The location was perfect so we walked everywhere we needed for eating, touring, and exploring the culture of Nantucket. The room was so cozy and private and Annmarie was the best baker …
